Project Management features: The software supports traditional project management practices. It was designed for organizations with advanced project requirements, even if these are small projects. This project environment is meant to be used by experienced and sophisticated project managers. Therefore, SureTrak has accountability features and lets you manage your projects, resources and costs. The software offers the full set of features for project analysis and forecasting, including tools for project scenarios utilizing trace logic, so that project schedulers can predict delays, constrains or reasons for negative float. SureTrak features customized reporting options (40 template reports) and PERT graphics. If these are not enough for your organization, the software is compatible with other Primavera products, such as Primavera Project Planner or Primavera Expedition. The software is empowered by a number of solutions. For example, to pull all your projects together and manage them as groups, you will have to use Project Group Wizard.

Collaboration features: Team members will need to use Primavera Post Office to update their work on the project in SureTrak. They can also make any report in SureTrak and publish it on the Web with SureTrak Web Publishing Wizard for other team members to see the progress of a project.

Prices range from $499 per user, if you are buying the basic version, which comes with 90 days of free support, to $798 per user, if you would like to purchase the version with 3 years of support. Shipping usually takes 2 weeks.

Installation/Upgrades: Like any heavyweight application, SureTrak requires multiple-step installation. You will have to buy all the product upgrades if you feel you need them. You get product updates for free when ordering the product support.

Help/Support: You can download the SureTrak 3.0 trial version to get a quick inside view of the software. However, to do so, you will have to obtain a Primavera account.

Customer support is available online. However, you need to create a so-called POINT account first to access the knowledge-base and to get an answer to your question. You can also purchase the product with maintenance and support, which will add from $139 to $300 to the starting price, depending on whether you want to be supported for 1 or 3 years.
